Issued Documents
The retaining firm supplies the complete, properly issued documents and identifies exactly what must be served.
VSS Business Solutions
Documented service assignments for established law-firm clients at the direction of retaining counsel.
Law-firm-only assignments
VSS accepts selected subpoena and authorized legal-document service assignments from established law-firm clients. The retaining firm must supply the properly issued documents, service instructions, jurisdiction, deadline, responsible contact, and any required witness fee or other materials.
Before accepting an assignment, VSS evaluates location, timing, feasibility, conflicts, and the applicable service requirements identified by counsel. Acceptance is not automatic, and an inquiry does not create an engagement.
Complete instructions reduce delay and help determine whether the assignment can be performed correctly.
The retaining firm supplies the complete, properly issued documents and identifies exactly what must be served.
The firm identifies the issuing court, applicable jurisdiction, service deadline, and any timing restrictions.
The firm provides the target information, authorized methods, required fees or materials, and reporting expectations.
VSS does not issue subpoenas, select the legally proper method of service, determine legal sufficiency, calculate legal deadlines, or advise a firm or recipient about rights or obligations. Those decisions remain with retaining counsel. Assignments are performed only where permitted, only after acceptance, and only according to documented instructions.

An inquiry is preliminary and does not create an engagement. VSS must review the assignment, scope, timing, conflicts, technical requirements, and applicable jurisdiction or venue before accepting work.
